- This professional development course is for the new teacher or the experienced teacher that simply wants to successfully implement differentiated assessment and grading for learning in their classroom. This course guides you through Kentucky Teacher Standard 6: Assesses and Communicates Learning Results using sound resources and the latest research on assessment, differentiation and grading for learning.
Specific topics of study will include: differentiated assessment, assessment for learning (a.k.a. formative assessment), product/project-based assessment, constructing standards-based rubrics, analyzing assessment data to guide instruction, assessing authentic learning and grading. FCPS is making a change in the Purchasing Process. We will begin the Purchasing Process by creating Requisitions instead of Purchase Orders. This course is designed for everyone who presently creates Purchase Orders. You will learn how to create and release a Requisition. This course also contains a help forum so that instructor and participants can ask questions concerning creating and releasing Requisitions.
